I started Splash Event Planning in Colorado in 2005 after planning the destination wedding of a good friend. From that moment it turned into a passion. I love planning weddings and love working with couples as they go through the process from start to finish. I love helping to find the group of vendors and the little pieces that are going to turn a wedding into the magical night you always dreamed of.


I started Splash Events after obtaining from MBA from CU Boulder in 2005. I got married in Colorado in 2002, and my family and I loved to upstate New York in 2008. I spent the first three years planning eventsĀ in Denver, Costa Rica, Las Vegas and the Colorado mountains, and have since been planning events in upstate New York.

I have three school aged children and also work as a consultant to help businesses and start ups. I plan weddings part time, which means that I only take on a few clients each year. With that minimal client load, I can focus 120% on the couples that I have at that time. I love getting involved so that the families and I feel close for years afterward. My goal is always a closeness that allows you to trust me throughout the process and know that I will be there to make sure everything goes perfectly.

Our specialty is making sure your event goes smoothly. We work tirelessly to make sure every detail is in place, every vendor on the same page, every table setting correctly positioned. We comb through our vast list of vendors to find the ones that fit best with your style, your budget, and your vision and create an outstanding event that makes you want to use us again and again.
